Mermaid Festival

This festival is a very good opportunity to recruit new members so please schedule as much time as possible during the week to support the demo.

Dates: Saturday June 19th through Sunday June 27th
 
Schedule
Saturday 19th - 12:00pm - We will need help setting up tents, archery, forge, etc...  (The Lions Club has given us a 50'x50' area near the carnival grounds on Washington St. to set up our demo area. We currently have three pavilions that will be set up for the duration of the festival)

Sunday 20th - 9:00am - festival officially starts with a car show and other miscellaneous. activities  (The festival organizers have requested that we do what we can to fill in for the absence of the carnival on Sunday and Monday.  Maximum attendance on both of these days in particular is encouraged)  Stew, cheese and bread provided for Sunday night dinner.

Monday through Saturday 21st to 26th - 9:00am - various activities as shire attendance permits.  We have many activities that can be done during the week and we will need as many people as possible to make a good showing.   Stew, cheese and bread provided for Saurday night dinner.  After demo revel, BYOB.

Sunday 27th - 9:00am - Tear down.  We will need help taking down the demo area and packing up. 
 

Lord Arlin will be at the encampment everyday from about 10:00am. However they can not do the demo all by himself during the day everyday. Please try to schedule at least one day, if at all possible, to be at the demo during the day to help Arlin out. If you would let both Lord Arlin and Forester Arinwald know what day or days you can be there we will add it to the schedule below.

We do need people to stay overnight for security reasons. Please see the schedule below and volunteer your time for any open nights.  (Please notify both Lord Arlin and Forester Arinwald)
